About Lisa
A designer’s eye. A perfectionist’s finish.
Lisa brings a designer’s eye to every gown, dress, and special-occasion piece she touches. With over a decade of hands-on garment experience and thousands of dresses behind her, she understands how fabric moves, how structure affects fit, and how small details can change the entire look of a piece.
Earlier in her career, Lisa worked in fashion design and production — including overseas garment development where construction, proportion, and finishing had to be exact. That background shows in her alterations today: she looks at the whole garment, not just the one seam or hem.
Clients come to Lisa when a dress needs to fit better, feel more comfortable, add coverage, reshape, repair, hem, line, or solve a problem they are not sure is even possible. Many clients come specifically for modesty adjustments or added coverage — and she approaches each piece individually so the finished garment feels balanced, comfortable, and intentional. Her standard is simple: if it does not look polished enough to wear with confidence, it is not finished.

Yes. Lisa can help with necklines, sleeves, linings, lengths, and added coverage. Every client's needs are different, so she looks at the garment and your comfort level before recommending what can be done.

Where are fittings held?
Private fittings are by appointment in Manhattan. Contact Lisa to arrange.
